Governor Tamilisai held a Video Conference with all District Branches Office Bearers of Indian Red Cross Society Telangana

The Hon’ble Governor, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan held a Video Conference with all District Branches Office Bearers of Indian Red Cross Society Telangana and reviewed the activities undertaken by the District Red Cross Branches to provide succor to people during the prevailing incessant rains and its devastating effects on the lives of people, more particularly the poor and needy.

Dr Tamilisai urged all the   district branch office bearers to be in close contact with District Collectors and associate with the district administration in providing the much needed relief to the affected people. She reminded them of the fundamental principles of the Red Cross and underscored the need to rise to the occasion to serve the people.

Dr. Tamilisai further advised all district branches to keep the lists of Junior Red Cross and Youth Red Cross volunteers ready and rope them into our service to society. She further assured them to provide all the assistance required from the State Office of the Indian Red Cross.

Shri Ajay Mishra, IAS (Retd.), the Honorary Chairman of IRCS Telangana State Branch and Shri K. Surendra Mohan, IAS, Secretary to Governor and all 33 District office bearers of the Indian Red Cross Society participated in the video conference.
