On this occasion, addressing a huge gathering of electricity employees, D.Prabhakar Rao, CMD/TSTRANSCO & TSGENCO, said that, keeping in view of rapid urbanization in state, TSTRANSCO is going to implement innovative technologies such as High Temperature Low Sag (HTLS) Conductors in place of conventional Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) conductors for further strengthening of transmission lines especially in and around Hyderabad city.
It is pertinent to note that, Honourable Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao directed all Government Departments to celebrate "Swatantra Bharatha Vajrotsava Dwi Saptaham" for two weeks all over the state to educate the new generations about the freedom fighters, their sacrifices and to inculcate the patriotic spirit among citizens.
Further, CMD/TSGENCO & TSTRANSCO stated that, Power Utilities have strived hard and played a significant role in implementing gigantic programmes of Government in Supplying immediate power to industries under TS-iPASS Policy, Providing of 24-Hours Power Supply to Agriculture Sector, Mission Bhagiratha-Telangana Water Grid Project, Various Lift Irrigation Schemes on a massive scale and Providing uninterrupted 24x7 Supply to all categories of consumers with a view that adequate and reliable power supply holds the key for industrial promotion as well as sustainable agricultural development in the state.
