The iconic entrepreneur, visionary, and luxe maven Divya Gurwara has defined and redefined bridal luxury retail over decades by transporting brides and families to incredible experientials. A true force of nature, she could foresee the need of offering wedding shoppers a unique platform where the A to Z of their bridal needs is addressed in the best possible manner. With her relentless push and constant innovation, Bridal Asia has become a luxury force to reckon with winning accolades and recognition globally.
Hailing from Dhanbad, she was a Science student and was aiming to pursue a career in Architecture. However, her marriage brought her to Delhi and it was the beginning of a new career in entrepreneurship. Given her keen eye for aesthetics and unwavering quest for beauty, she initiated a cultural dialogue with the weavers from the Kolkata School. Later the aesthete went on to do a course in Gemology where she recontextualized stones and metals in a whole new game-changing design palette in jewelry.
Divya's penchant for the dynamism of design eventually culminated in the mega event `Bridal Asia Grasping the growing importance of weddings getting the ‘designer’ tag, she decided to offer a complete 360-degree solution to the new-age brides, who were ready to push the envelope for that ‘perfect’ wedding. She scouted the country for real design talent and even crossed the boundary to create a chic cornucopia of bridal extravaganza where she curated the finest in bridal attire, jewellery, home concepts and exciting accessories. Carefully handpicked from around the country and subcontinent by Divya, the first Bridal Asia way back in 1999 was a thoughtfully selected group of 40 participants that set the blueprint for India’s
largest Bridal extravaganza. Over the years, the number of participants since the first exhibition had amplified tremendously and so has the legion of Bridal Asia loyalists. She singlehandedly transcended geographical boundaries by encouraging overseas participants. Crafting a new lexicon of bridal retail, haute couture and luxe bridal services.

After joining the company in 2012, Dhruv Gurwara under his unique vision and sharp business acumen embarked upon expansion and scaling up of Bridal Asia in other cities. After hosting his first year of Bridal Asia in 2015 in Mumbai, the visionary has taken the platform to new heights of success and grown Bridal Asia to have four editions each year for Spring Summer and Autumn Winter across New Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad. Dhruv aims to make the digital identity of the brand even more vibrant by unveiling an online portal for high-end luxury brands in the wedding space. In an attempt to cater to patrons who cannot make it to the exhibitions, he wants this e-commerce store to ensure a year around availability of high fashion and luxury to Bridal Asia loyalists.
Always up for taking on new challenges and armed with a unique ability to multi-task, Dhruv also launched the Bridal Asia magazine to give the brand a 360 degrees approach for well- rounded visibility, which has enriched the brand significantly.
