Telangana: CM KCR to Meet with RTC Workers on December 1
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has decided to have a meeting with RTC workers from all the 97 depots in the state on December 1 (Sunday) at Pragati Bhavan here. The CM has decided to invite five members from each depot and instructed the RTC MD to make arrangements for their travel to attend the meeting. The CM instructed that of the five members team from each depot, two members should be women and also wanted a representation of all communities. The CM wanted workers representatives to reach Pragati Bhavan by 12 noon and lunch arrangements were made for them at the venue. The CM will interact personally with workers after lunch. The CM will discuss all the issues related to the RTC threadbare with the workers. For this meeting, Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar, RTC MD, EDs, RMs and DVMs are also invited.
Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar thanked Honourable Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for allowing RTC workers to join duties unconditionally. Ajay Kumar met the CM at Pragati Bhavan here on Friday. Ajay Kumar also thanked the CM for having assured to take measures from the government side to safeguard the existence of the RTC and for deciding to have talks with the RTC workers directly.
