Love is the only path to peace, freedom, and happiness: AP Governor
Speaking at Carol's singing program organized at Raj Bhavan lawns on the eve of Christmas, Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan said Jesus Christ gave mankind, the message of peace, harmony, and universal brotherhood and this is what all of us need to practice in our lives. Governor Harichandan said to be truly happy we must rise above the bigotry and jealousy of others and love even those who hate us. He said love is the only path to peace, freedom, and happiness.
Carols singing in English and Telugu by CSI Krishna and Godavari Diocese and others, dance drama on Birth of Jesus by children of NSM school, dance presentation on Pray for India, stood as a special attraction. Governor Harichandan participated in the cake cutting event followed by Candle Light Service.
Governor Harichandan complimented the children and the choristers who sang the carols at the celebrations held at Raj Bhavan on the eve of Christmas, celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and welcoming the festivities of Christmas and New Year.
The program concluded with Candle Light Service and Message by Bishop Most Rev. Dr. T. Joseph Raja Rao, Prayers led by Rt. Rev. Dr. T. George Cornelious, Opening Prayer by Most Rev. Dr. Fredric Paradesi Babu. Christian Elders Rev. Dr. B. Ebenizer, Rev. Dr. Viswa Prasad, Rev. Dr. Elia Kodali, Rt. Rev. Nakka John Raju, Rev. Dr. John Devadas, Rev. Dr. Devaraj, have also participated in the program.
