Telangana CS inaugurated the Board of Intermediate Education Grievance Redressal System

Somesh Kumar I.A.S., Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana inaugurated the BIGRS(Board of Intermediate Grievances Redressal System)today i.e. 07th January 2020 at Board of Intermediate Education, Nampally, Hyderabad. The BIGRS is prepared and maintained by the CGG (Centre for Good Governance).

The BIGRS is an attempt by the Board to give a platform to the Students to ventilate their Grievances, problems etc. Once the complaints are received the software will immediately direct the complaint to the concerned officers online. The concerned officer will take steps to resolve the complaints and intimate the action taken to resolve the complaints through the online system.

The superior officers of both the Board of Intermediate Education & Commissioner of Intermediate Education will be monitoring the disposal of the complaints on the dashboard. The Complainant can also track the status of the complaints. Clear time frames have been prescribed for clearing the complaints.

All these stakeholders i.e. Students, Parents, General Public, College Management and even service matter complaints will also be dealt through the BIGRS.

Step 1:Enter Mobile Number

Step 2:OTP Validation

Step 3:Select & Enter Grievance Details

Step 4:After submitting their Grievance is generated

Shortly, the TSBIE is going to introduce various modes of accessing grievances through social media: Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, Mobile App,g.mail, website and BIE helpdesk, BIE Call Centre &BIE Peshi.

The Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar said that on the directions of the Honourable Chief  Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has convened a meeting with the Commissioner of Intermediate Education, School Education, Director CGG and other officers of the Education Department.

Steps are being taken to streamline the Result processing of SSC and Intermediate Results and also stated that Zero tolerance for errors in Examinations.

He gave instructions to the officials to plan and prepare well for pre Examinations and post Examination works and conducts the Examination in a perfect manner.

The Chief Secretary gave assurance to the students, parents, Teachers, College managements and the General public that there is not an iota of doubt in conducting the Examination efficiently.

He congratulated the Secretary, Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education for launching the BIGRS for redressing the various issues of Intermediate Education.

He also stated that every exam is important and Intermediate Examinations are more important. Checkpoints have been kept at various levels and the main goal is to sensitize the Evaluator regarding the frequently committed errors in Evaluation.
