Vijayasai Reddy Rejects Media Reports Claiming Anti-Jagan Remarks

Former YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Vijayasai Reddy has strongly condemned recent media reports alleging that he made statements against Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy during his visits to Tirupati and Visakhapatnam. In a public statement, Vijayasai Reddy categorically denied these allegations, asserting that there is no truth in such reports being circulated by certain newspapers and television channels.
"I have come across media reports from unnamed newspapers and TV channels claiming that I spoke against Jagan Mohan Reddy in Tirupati and Visakhapatnam. I want to make it absolutely clear that I have never spoken against Jagan Mohan Reddy either off the record or on the record," said Vijayasai Reddy.
He acknowledged that while he left the party due to internal issues involving a coterie, he would never act or speak in a manner that would harm Jagan Mohan Reddy. “Although I left the party due to a coterie, I will never behave or speak in a way that harms Jagan Mohan Reddy,” he stated.
Clarifying his current position, Vijayasai Reddy said, “I am no longer active in politics. I have no enmity with any political party or leader. Whenever I intend to speak about an issue, I will do so directly and unhesitatingly before the media, or I will communicate through my official ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) account.”
He also emphasized that he has no involvement in behind-the-scenes dealings or dramatics and does not engage in indirect insinuations. Vijayasai Reddy urged the public not to believe the misinformation being aggressively spread on electronic media and in dubious newspapers. “Those spreading falsehoods in my name are driven by ulterior motives. I request people not to believe the propaganda being run by some electronic media outlets and poorly reputed newspapers,” he added in a tweet.
