Chandrababu ready to announce Pawan Kalyan as chief ministerial candidate, asks Sajjala
Amaravati, May 9: AP Government Advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy on Monday flayed TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan for their comments over poll alliance. Referred to ‘sacrifice’ remark of Chandrababu in Annavaram, Sajjala asked him as to whether he is ready to announce Pawan Kalyan as chief ministerial candidate in 2024 elections.
The YSRCP general secretary expressed surprise over comments made by Pawan Kalyan at a meeting. “Pawan Kalyan should openly declare that he wants to see Chandrababu as CM once again. So that, people can understand there would be an alliance between the TDP and Jana Sena,” he mentioned.
Sajjala said that AP BJP chief Somu Veerraju has made it clear that the BJP and Jana Sena are still in alliance. “How can Pawan Kalyan say that he will ensure no split in non-YSRCP votes without three Opposition parties joining hands,” he asked. MLC Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad and other YSRCP leaders were present.
