TDP gives ‘Chalo Narsipatnam’ call today to protest demolition of Ayyanna’s house

Visakhapatnam, June 18: The TDP gave ‘Chalo Narsipatnam’ call on Monday protesting demolition of compound wall belonging to the house of former minister and party’s politburo member Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu at Narsipatnam in the early hours of Sunday. 
 
Amidst under tight security with 300 policemen, the demolition drive was taken up by closing all the roads leading to the residence of the TDP leader anticipating that the Opposition party leaders and workers will gather in large number. The civic body officials said that Ayyanna Patrudu had encroached 2 cents of government land and constructed compound wall.
 
 However, family members of Ayyanna alleged that the revenue and municipal officials raged wall within 24 hours of giving notice to them.
 
TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh condemned the demolition and accused YSRCP government of indulging in revenge politics against Ayyanna Patrudu for criticising the ruling party. Taking objections raised by the TDP into consideration, RDO said that facts will be placed before them after conducting a survey.
