Girls outsmart boys in Telangana SSC results 2022
Hyderabad, June 30: Minister for Education Sabitha Indra Reddy on Thursday released SSC results for the academic year 2021-22. The SSC exams were held from May 23 to June 1.
Addressing the media, Sabitha said that exams were conducted for SSC students after reducing syllabus to 70% and limiting exam papers to 6 from 11. She mentioned that 4,53,201 students passed from the total of 5,03,579. The overall pass percentage is 90%.
The minister said that 2,55,433 boys appeared for tenth class exams out of which 2,23,779 cleared. Likewise, 2,48,146 girls wrote SSC exams and 2,29,422 passed. The pass percentage of boys is 87.61% and girls 92.45%. She congratulated students passed in tenth class exams and wished them all the best in their future endeavours.
Sabitha directed officials of the School Education Department to conduct special classes for failed students weekly thrice as they will be writing advance supplementary exams from August 1.
