KCR launching BRS to implement PM Modi’s agenda: Revanth Reddy
Delhi, July 5: Speaking to the media after meeting AICC general secretary K.C. Venugopal here on Tuesday, TPCC president Revanth Reddy alleged that Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) is launching the Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) to implement Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s agenda.
The Telangana Congress chief said that KCR did not attend the meeting convened by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for finalising the UPA presidential candidate. “Telangana CM extended support to Yashwant Sinha after knowing that Draupadi Murmu’s victory is sure with the votes of the YSRCP and BJD,” he mentioned.
Revanth was successful in quelling the opposition as no senior Telangana Congress leader reportedly did not attend the lunch organised by former Congress MLA P. Vishnuvardhan Reddy. However, the TPCC president clarified that he is keeping names of leaders joining from other political parties into Congress secret so that they do not face harassment from ruling TRS. He further stated that the Congress is not promising MLA tickets to those leaders, who are joining the party.
