TPCC chief Revanth is a blackmailer: Y.S. Sharmila

Hyderabad, July 8: YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP) founder-president Y.S. Sharmila garlanded the statue of his late father and former chief minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy on the occasion of his birth anniversary. On the same day in 2021, the YSRTP was launched by Sharmila in Telangana.
 
Speaking to the media, she said that the YSRTP highlighted people’s issues in the last one year. “The ruling TRS government released job notifications only after YSRTP staged protests over unemployment in the state,” she claimed.
 
Sharmila further said that she covered 15 districts in her year-long 1,500-km padayatra and interacted with people and heard their problems. To a question, the YSRTP president alleged that TPCC chief Revanth Reddy is a thief and blackmailer. “Revanth has no credibility as he was accused in the cash-for-vote scam,” she said and made it clear that the YSRTP will field candidates in all Assembly constituencies in upcoming elections.
