Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan demoralising officials involved in flood relief activities: CM Jagan
Amaravati, July 18: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday held a meeting with collectors and special officers of six flood-ravaged districts to review ongoing rescue and relief operations.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM came down heavily on Leader of the Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu, Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan and a section of media. He faulted Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan for trying to demoralise upright officials, who are involved in flood relief activities without taking rest, with their criticism.
While patting officials, Jagan informed them not to bother remarks made by the Opposition parties and carry out relief works. He gave a call to ministers, YSRCP MLAs and MPs to give a befitting reply to Opposition’s allegations.
The CM said that no state government in the past had extended support like YSRCP government to flood victims. “There is no shortage of funds,” he said and directed collectors to take proactive role in relief and rescue measures.
