82% Sangam barrage works completed by Chandrababu: Devineni Uma
Amaravati, September 7: Former minister and senior TDP leader Devineni Umamaheswara Rao criticised the YSRCP government for showing negligence in maintenance of irrigation projects and delaying completion of pending projects. In a tweet, he claimed that 82% of Mekapati Goutham Reddy (MGR) Sangam barrage works were completed by Leader of the Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu when he was CM.
“Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy dedicated MGR Sangam and Nellore barrages without even completing 10% works in last 40 months,” he flayed and added that the YSRCP government only changed the name of Sangam barrage nothing else. He demanded that the Jagan government should release a white paper on expenditure incurred on various projects by the previous TDP government and present YSRCP regime.
