Respond on Delhi liquor scam allegations if not get sacked, CM Jagan warns ministers
Amaravati, September 7: Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy held at CM’s Camp Office here on Wednesday. According to reports, the CM raised the topic of Delhi liquor scam in the Cabinet. He informed ministers that no one responded swiftly even after charges of AP ministers’ hand in liquor scam levelled.
Jagan Reddy reportedly warned of sacking two or three ministers from the Cabinet if they fail to react on accusations. “Ministers should exhibit collective responsibility to refute charges,” he said and added that it is not the right attitude to think someone will respond if not me.
Several decisions were ratified by the Cabinet. Approval was accorded for Rs 1.26 lakh crore investments in the state out of which Rs 81,000 crores alone in green energy projects. Nod was given for expansion of Bhavanapadu Port and filling up 85 news posts in the Secretariat with promoted employees.
