The Rouse Avenue Court has postponed its decision on the bail petition filed by BRS MLC Kavitha following her arrest by the CBI, until May 2. The delay adds to the ongoing suspense over the outcome of her cases under both the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Kavitha, who is also implicated in the Delhi liquor scam, was taken into custody by the ED on March 15 and subsequently arrested by the CBI on April 11.
Currently, she is in a 14-day judicial custody at Tihar Jail. As the court deliberates on her bail petitions, the anticipation regarding the verdicts in both the CBI and ED cases continues to mount.
