YS Sharmila, the President of Andhra Pradesh Congress and sister of the current Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, has publicly criticized her brother's political methods, labeling them as degraded. Speaking in Kadapa today, she vehemently denied allegations made by Jagan Mohan Reddy that she has allied with Chandrababu Naidu, a prominent political figure. She challenged the basis of these accusations and demanded proof of any such alliance.
Sharmila refuted claims linking her to Chandrababu Naidu and questioned the validity of similar accusations against other political figures, including Revanth Reddy, the Chief Minister of Telangana. She criticized the pervasive influence attributed to Chandrababu Naidu, suggesting that Jagan Mohan Reddy is obsessed with him.
Expressing concern for her brother's mental state, Sharmila metaphorically stated that she is sending him a mirror to reflect on his own actions and perceptions. She provocatively asked whether Jagan sees Chandrababu Naidu's face when he looks in the mirror, implying a deep psychological influence or fixation.
