Confusion Led to the Decision for That Film: Director Srinu Vaitla
Srinu Vaitla, known for his entertaining family films, has delivered several blockbusters like Dhee, Ready, and Dookudu. However, he has fallen behind in the race in recent years. After a long break, Srinu Vaitla is returning with his upcoming film Vishwam, starring Gopichand and Kavya Thapar. The movie is set to release on the 11th of this month.
Speaking to the media, Srinu Vaitla shared some insights:
"This film is made specifically for the Telugu audience. I took a current burning issue in the country and blended it with entertainment, action, and emotion. Everything in this film is very fresh—whether it’s the way Gopichand's character is designed, the action, or the entertainment. The comedy in this film is also situational. Just like there are many hidden secrets in the character of Vishwam, the character itself is layered with various emotions and shades. His journey, the challenges he faces, and how he achieves his goal will all be intriguing.
I carefully analyzed what the audience enjoys and combined that with my style of entertainment to craft this film. This isn't just a film made for the sake of making a movie; I realized that my previous films were becoming too similar in their backgrounds. So, I took note of what the audience wanted and infused it with my style of humor and entertainment," he explained.
He also reflected on one of his past films, Amar Akbar Anthony, saying, "That movie was made when I was in a depressed state of mind and out of confusion. While the producers didn't face any financial losses, the audience didn’t connect with the film." He further stated that audiences still appreciate his content and style, and he is confident that Vishwam will fully satisfy them.
