'Pushpa 2' Non-Theatrical Rights Fetch Rs 420 Crores, Total Business Crosses Rs 1000 Crores
The pan-India film 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', starring Allu Arjun, is being directed by Sukumar and jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. After winning the hearts of fans worldwide with 'Pushpa: The Rise', Allu Arjun's upcoming film is highly anticipated by audiences.
Currently, the film is in the midst of shooting, along with post-production work progressing at full speed. Earlier, the makers had announced that the film would be released on December 6. However, they have now revealed that 'Pushpa 2' will be released one day earlier, on December 5. This announcement was made today at a press meet held in Hyderabad.
Along with the film's producers, distributors responsible for the nationwide release of 'Pushpa 2' also participated in the press conference.The distributors stated that 'Pushpa 2' will be released in the largest number of theaters across India, and there is potential for the film to create new box office records.
They expressed confidence that 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' will exceed all expectations and perform ten times better than anticipated. The producers also mentioned that the Pushpa franchise has earned strong recognition across the country.
In response to a question, the producers confirmed that 'Pushpa 2' has made Rs 420 crores from non-theatrical rights alone, and with theatrical business included, the film's total business has crossed Rs 1000 crores.
