TDP Politburo member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu alleged that former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy received bribes amounting to ₹1,750 crore from Adani companies in solar power purchase agreements. He claimed the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the United States confirmed these allegations. Yanamala demanded an Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) inquiry into Jagan's alleged bribery scam.

Yanamala criticized Jagan for undermining press freedom by dismissing such allegations. He pointed out that every national and international media outlet, except Jagan-owned Sakshi, covered the scam, which he said was recognized worldwide. He questioned why Jagan had not initiated legal action against the FBI or media organizations if the allegations were baseless.
