Manchu Manoj Files Police Complaint; Inspector Reveals Details
Renowned actor Mohan Babu’s family found itself at the center of controversy following reports of a physical altercation between Mohan Babu and his son, Manchu Manoj. While the Manchu family dismissed these claims, the rumors gained traction after Manchu Manoj was spotted visiting a private hospital in Hyderabad with an injury to his leg yesterday.
In a significant development today, Manchu Manoj filed a police complaint regarding the incident. He provided details at the Pahadi Shareef Police Station in Hyderabad and requested action against those involved.
Speaking to the media, the Pahadi Shareef Police Inspector explained the details of the complaint.
“Manchu Manoj alleged in his complaint that while he was at home with his wife and children, ten unidentified individuals attempted to attack him. He claimed that he tried to apprehend them, but they escaped, causing him injuries in the process,” the inspector stated.
Manchu Manoj also alleged that following the incident, he visited a hospital and that CCTV footage related to the incident was tampered with. The inspector confirmed that the case will be registered and an investigation will commence.
The police inspector clarified that Manchu Manoj’s complaint did not name any individuals, including Mohan Babu or other family members. He mentioned only ten unidentified persons in the report. “Manoj expressed uncertainty about the motive behind the attack but stated that he and his family—his wife and children—felt threatened,” the inspector added.
The inspector also noted that allegations of tampered CCTV footage would be investigated. Manchu Manoj accused two individuals, identified as Vinay Reddy and Kiran, of being involved in the disappearance of the CCTV footage.
The investigation is ongoing, and further details are expected to emerge.
