Road Accident in US Kills Tenali Woman Pursuing MS
In a tragic road accident in the United States, Nagasreevandana Parimala, a 26-year-old woman from Tenali in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, lost her life. Parimala, the daughter of local businessman Ganesh and Rama Devi, had traveled to the US two years ago to pursue her Master of Science (MS) degree. She was studying in the state of Tennessee.
The fatal incident occurred on Friday night when the car Parimala was traveling in was struck by a truck, causing severe injuries that led to her death. The news of her untimely demise has plunged her family and community in Tenali into deep sorrow.
Efforts are underway by representatives of the Telugu Association of North America (TANA) to arrange for Parimala’s mortal remains to be sent back to India as soon as possible.
Concerns have been raised over the increasing number of road accidents involving people from the Telugu-speaking states in the US in recent times.
