Former Chief Minister and YSRCP President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy criticized Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, alleging that he lacks the ability to create wealth or manage the state's finances effectively. Speaking on the state's economic history, Jagan stated that Andhra Pradesh experienced revenue deficits every year during Chandrababu’s 14-year tenure as Chief Minister. He questioned, "Was there a single year of surplus revenue during his rule? Where is the wealth creation he boasts about?"

Jagan criticized Chandrababu for lacking the ability to create wealth and for not having comprehensive financial control. He accused Chandrababu of fabricating stories about making Andhra Pradesh's economy worth $2.4 trillion through the Vision-2047 document. Jagan claimed that while any state's economy grows over time, Chandrababu, who has never created wealth, attributes this growth to himself. Instead of creating wealth, Jagan alleged that Chandrababu sells government assets, making the poor even poorer by removing poverty alleviation programs. Jagan questioned how anyone could believe that Chandrababu was envisioning the future.

Jagan criticized Chandrababu for using the Vision-2047 document as a publicity stunt to deceive people. He compared it to the Vision-2020 document from 1998, which he described as a dark chapter in the state's history, marked by farmer suicides, migration for work, and widespread hardship due to lack of employment.

During his visit to Hyderabad, former Swiss Finance Minister Pascal reportedly remarked, "If someone makes false claims in the name of vision documents in our country, they would either be sent to jail or a hospital." Ultimately, even the public rejected that document. Similarly, in 2014, Chandrababu Naidu spoke about "Vision-2029," which also remained just a publicity stunt," criticized Jagan Mohan Reddy. He made these remarks in a detailed tweet.
