During the fifth day of the third Test between India and Australia at the Gabba Stadium in Brisbane, an unusual incident occurred involving Indian player Akash Deep and Australian fielder Travis Head. While batting, Akash Deep accidentally got the ball stuck in the pads on his leg. He removed the ball with his hand and dropped it on the ground. Travis Head, fielding nearby, approached Akash Deep asking for the ball. Realizing his mistake, Akash Deep quickly apologized to Head. The video of this moment has since gone viral online.

In the match, India was bowled out for 260 runs in their first innings. Resuming play on the fifth day with an overnight score of 252/9, India managed to add only eight more runs before losing their final wicket. Jasprit Bumrah (10) and Akash Deep (31) put together a 47-run partnership for the last wicket.

Earlier, Australia posted a commanding first-innings total of 445 runs, securing a significant 185-run lead over India.

In their second innings, Australia struggled initially, losing three wickets for just 16 runs. At present, the Australian team holds a 211-run lead, with Travis Head (8) and Mitchell Marsh (1) at the crease. Australia’s score stands at 26/3 after nine overs.
