KTR Drives Auto to Telangana Assembly in Protest

BRS Working President and former minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) demanded that the government immediately fulfill promises made to auto drivers. In a symbolic protest, KTR personally drove an auto-rickshaw to the Assembly, giving rides to MLAs. A video of KTR driving the auto has gone viral on social media.

Alongside KTR, several BRS MLAs and MLCs wore khaki shirts and held placards while staging a protest in the Assembly premises.

Speaking to the media, KTR urged the Congress government to honor its election promises and support auto drivers. He alleged that 93 auto drivers had died by suicide within a year under the Congress administration and held the government responsible for these deaths.

KTR asserted that the BRS party would stand firmly by auto drivers and continue its fight until justice is served.
