The Charlapalli Railway Terminal, built at a cost of ₹430 crore, is set to be inaugurated on December 28 by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Union Minister Kishan Reddy. The terminal is equipped with modern facilities, including six escalators, seven lifts, six booking counters, separate waiting halls for men and women, a high-class waiting area, and an executive lounge on the ground floor.
The first floor features a cafeteria, restaurant, and restrooms. Passengers will also have access to free Wi-Fi. Once operational, several trains from Hyderabad will begin their journeys from the Charlapalli terminal, reducing the passenger load on major stations such as Secunderabad, Nampally, and Kacheguda.
