KTR Falsely Accused: Harish Rao

BRS leaders have expressed strong criticism over the ACB filing a case against former minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) alleging misuse of funds related to the Formula E car racing event. Senior BRS leader Harish Rao addressed the Assembly, denouncing the case as unjust and politically motivated.

Harish Rao accused CM Revanth Reddy and the government of suppressing dissent by filing baseless cases. "Whenever we question Revanth Reddy or this government, they resort to harassment under the guise of inquiries," he asserted.

He lauded KTR’s efforts in organizing the Formula E car race, which enhanced Hyderabad’s global image. Challenging the opposition, he said, "If you believe the charges against KTR are true, have the courage to discuss them in the Assembly." He further stressed that KTR’s sole intention was to promote the state’s reputation through the event and dared the opposition to initiate a debate on the issue in the legislature.
