Pushpa-2 Nears ₹1,040 Crore Mark, Sets New Global Milestones
The box office success of Pushpa-2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, continues to dominate with remarkable earnings, particularly in the Hindi market. Directed by Sukumar, the movie has maintained its momentum, delivering a strong performance at the box office.
On Saturday, December 21, the film experienced an unexpected spike in collections, earning ₹25 crore, a significant increase from Friday’s ₹14 crore. As a result, the nationwide collections have now reached ₹1,029.9 crore.
According to Shaknilk, a platform that tracks movie earnings, the Hindi version alone has contributed ₹652.9 crore, while the Telugu version amassed ₹302.35 crore. Globally, Pushpa-2 has already crossed the ₹1,500 crore mark, cementing its position as a blockbuster.
Projections for Sunday suggest further growth in collections, potentially surpassing ₹1,040 crore domestically. Currently, Baahubali-2: The Conclusion holds the record for the highest domestic earnings at ₹1,040 crore. With Allu Arjun’s film nearing this milestone, analysts believe Pushpa-2 could break Prabhas’ record if Sunday’s earnings are strong.
Given the holiday season spanning Christmas to New Year, industry experts predict Pushpa-2 will secure even higher collections in the coming days, further solidifying its standing as one of Indian cinema’s biggest successes.
