CPI Narayana Criticizes Subsidy for Pushpa-2: Glorifying Smuggling?
CPI leader Narayana has raised serious allegations against the government regarding the movie Pushpa-2, starring Allu Arjun. He criticized the government for allegedly granting subsidies to a film that glorifies smuggling. Narayana questioned, “How can a movie that portrays smuggling as honorable receive government incentives?”
Expressing his disappointment, Narayana lashed out at Allu Arjun, who comes from a lineage of celebrated actors, for supporting such films. He stated that it is disheartening to see actors of this stature promoting content that could negatively influence society.
Narayana also spoke about a tragic incident where a woman sacrificed her life to save her son, highlighting the severity of societal issues. He said that such incidents should make society bow its head in shame and must be condemned strongly. He emphasized that artists and writers bear the responsibility of ensuring that such unfortunate incidents do not recur.
Furthermore, Narayana urged the government to provide support to the victim’s family and declared that his party would contribute its share of assistance to the family.
