MLC Balmuri Venkat Criticizes Allu Arjun’s Press Meet

MLC Balmuri Venkat strongly criticized actor Allu Arjun, accusing him of insensitivity. Referring to Allu Arjun’s press meet, Venkat remarked, “Is showcasing Telugu pride worth disregarding lives?” He expressed disappointment, stating, “We expected him to apologize upon announcing the press meet. However, the actor’s approach was inappropriate.”

Venkat highlighted that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, during an Assembly session, assured the public that strict action would be taken against anyone violating the law. “In this context, what prompted Allu Arjun to hold a press meet?” Venkat questioned.

The MLC also condemned the actor’s remarks during the press meet and criticized his response to the tragic incident at Sandhya Theatre. Referring to video footage, Venkat stated, “We have videos showing how long Allu Arjun stayed inside the theatre and how he left the premises following the incident.”

Venkat further alleged that fireworks were lit at Allu Arjun’s residence the day after the demise of Revathi, a victim of the tragedy. He urged the actor to introspect, show empathy, and support the bereaved family. Venkat advised Allu Arjun to extend his condolences and stand with the victims' families during such times.
