Amid the ongoing uproar in Parliament over alleged inappropriate remarks made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah about Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, multiple opposition parties, including the Congress, have intensified their protests. Both houses of Parliament witnessed significant disruptions, and opposition-led demonstrations were organized across the country.

In this context, Telangana Minister Ponnam Prabhakar criticized Andhra Pradesh BJP President Daggubati Purandeswari for her silence. Addressing the issue, Prabhakar questioned, “Would Purandeswari remain silent if similar criticism were leveled against NTR?” He accused Purandeswari of acting indifferent even when Amit Shah made critical remarks about Ambedkar in Parliament.

Ponnam questioned the justification of filing an attempted murder case against Rahul Gandhi. He stated that the Congress party does not engage in vindictive politics. Responding to the Sandhya Theater stampede and the arrest of Allu Arjun, he mentioned that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had clarified the details of the incidents in the Assembly.
