Venu Swamy Donates ₹2 Lakhs to Revathi's Family and Pledges Support for Sritej

Venu Swamy has provided financial assistance of ₹2 lakhs to the family of Revathi, who tragically lost her life in the stampede at the premiere show of Pushpa-2 on December 4. He handed over a cheque of ₹2 lakhs to Revathi’s husband, Bhaskar. Additionally, Venu Swamy announced that he would perform a Mrityunjaya Homam (a Vedic ritual) in the name of Sritej, who is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital. Earlier, Venu Swamy personally visited Sritej at KIMS Hospital to check on his condition.

The Pushpa-2 team has already announced significant financial compensation of ₹2 crores for the victims. Actor Allu Arjun contributed ₹1 crore, while Mythri Movie Makers and director Sukumar each provided ₹50 lakhs. Cheques amounting to ₹2 crores were handed over to producer Dil Raju.

In addition to these efforts, Sukumar’s wife, Tabitha, donated ₹5 lakhs toward Sritej's medical expenses. Furthermore, the Komatireddy Prateek Reddy Foundation extended financial assistance of ₹25 lakhs to support the victims and their families.
