Uppal Stadium in Hyderabad was left in a deplorable state following New Year celebrations, drawing sharp criticism from local residents. On Wednesday morning, the stadium resembled a garbage dump, littered with empty liquor bottles, disposable glasses, and discarded meat pieces. Regular morning walkers at the stadium were shocked to witness the extent of the mess, which they described as a complete disregard for public cleanliness.

Residents expressed anger not only at the event organizers but also at the officials who had granted permission for the celebrations. "Those who organized the party and those who approved it must take responsibility," said one of the residents.

Although the event organizers were expected to clean up the stadium post-celebrations, they allegedly abandoned the venue without taking any measures to restore its condition. This left the stadium in disarray, with its grounds covered in waste.

Outraged by the negligence, locals recorded videos of the scene on their mobile phones. These videos, highlighting the littered state of the stadium and the organizers' apathy, were shared widely on social media, quickly going viral.
