Land Grabbing Allegations Against Sajjala Family: Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan Orders Probe
Key allegations of land grabbing have surfaced against the family of Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, a prominent leader of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP). Accusations claim that Sajjala’s family illegally occupied approximately 52 acres of prime land on the outskirts of Kadapa, including forest lands and government properties. These allegations have ignited significant political controversy in Andhra Pradesh.
In response, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has directed a thorough investigation into the matter. He instructed officials from the Forest and Revenue Departments to prepare a comprehensive report on the alleged encroachments. Pawan Kalyan issued a stern warning, stating that no one would be allowed to tamper with government or public lands under any circumstances.
Following his directives, officials have commenced field inspections. Teams from the Forest and Revenue Departments are currently conducting surveys to ascertain the extent and legitimacy of the alleged encroachments. Reports suggest that a guesthouse linked to the Sajjala family may have been constructed on the disputed land, further intensifying scrutiny.
