Illegal Five-Storey Building Demolished by Hydra in Ayyappa Society, Madhapur
A five-storey building in Ayyappa Society, Madhapur, was demolished by Hydra officials on Sunday morning. The structure, located adjacent to the 100-feet road, was identified as an illegal construction by both Hydra and the High Court earlier. According to GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) officials, notices regarding the unauthorized nature of the building had been issued to the owner last year. Following a site inspection on Saturday by Hydra Chief Ranganath and other senior officials, the demolition was carried out early Sunday using heavy bulldozers.
Meanwhile, Hydra is set to launch the ‘Prajavani’ public grievance program from Monday. This initiative will be held every Monday at Buddha Bhavan from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM. It aims to directly address complaints related to encroachments on government parks, lands, and lakes. Citizens have been advised to bring supporting evidence when filing complaints. Hydra Chief Commissioner Ranganath stated that tokens will be issued to the first 50 complainants, and their grievances will be addressed in that order.
