My Constituency Knows No Other Party Symbol: CM Chandrababu
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu stated that his primary responsibility is to restore and stabilize the systems that were destroyed in the past five years and ensure justice for the people who voted him to power. Speaking during his second-day visit to Kuppam, he emphasized the need to provide efficient governance, noting that the "Jana Nayakudu" portal was launched with the goal of addressing local issues swiftly, beginning with Kuppam and later expanding statewide.
Addressing the gathering, Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep gratitude to the people of Kuppam, saying, “I can never repay the debt I owe to the people of Kuppam, who have elected me as their MLA eight times. This constituency recognizes only the cycle symbol; no other party symbol is familiar here. From the beginning, people have trusted me, and no other party’s flag has ever been raised here.”
The Chief Minister outlined his vision for the next five years, introducing the "Swarna Kuppam Vision - 2029," aimed at comprehensive development in all sectors. He explained that the "Jana Nayakudu" program was launched to ensure prompt resolution of issues faced by the people of Kuppam.
"I Bear Three Responsibilities"
"I am the party president, the MLA of Kuppam, and the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. These roles place three different responsibilities on me. Our party workers took our promises to the public and secured votes. As party president, it is my duty to fulfill those promises. As an MLA, I must look after the welfare of my constituency,” Chandrababu Naidu said.
To ensure effective communication of local issues, the "Jana Nayakudu" portal was introduced, providing residents an avenue to submit petitions. Officials, including his personal assistant and local administrators, will always be available to receive grievances, which will be brought to his attention for timely resolution. Meanwhile, broader governance issues such as public grievances and land disputes will be handled by the PGRS (Public Grievance Redressal System).
Empowering Party Workers as Entrepreneurs
Chandrababu Naidu announced an initiative to transform party workers into entrepreneurs. He expressed satisfaction that TDP membership has nearly reached one crore, calling the party workers the backbone of TDP. “We consider our dedicated workers as family members who have stood by us during difficult times. We are providing ₹5 lakh in accident insurance for every worker, along with financial support for their children’s education, employment, and livelihoods. Only those with the approval of party workers will be given official positions,” he added.
Criticism of Previous Governance
The Chief Minister accused the previous government of mismanaging the state and driving it into debt. He alleged that the YSR Congress Party leaders disrupted administrative systems, seized lands, and tampered with land records. "We are rectifying all these discrepancies through revenue conferences," he said.
Further, Chandrababu Naidu criticized the former administration for suppressing dissent by filing false cases, even targeting media representatives. "We will introduce an order to withdraw these cases," he stated.
Ensuring Water Security
Highlighting his government’s efforts to provide water security, Chandrababu Naidu said that steps have been initiated to link the Godavari and Penna rivers. “We will bring the waters of the Godavari to Rayalaseema and later ensure a steady water supply to Kuppam. By June, we aim to complete the Handri-Neeva project and bring Krishna waters to Kuppam,” he concluded.
