‘Thalliki Vandanam’ Scheme to Launch in May, Followed by ‘Annadata’: CM Chandrababu
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu made a key announcement in the Assembly today regarding the implementation of welfare schemes promised in the election manifesto. He stated that the ‘Thalliki Vandanam’ scheme will be launched in May, followed immediately by the ‘Annadata’ scheme. Despite financial challenges, Chandrababu Naidu reaffirmed his commitment to implementing every promise made in the manifesto.

“We will complete teacher recruitment through the DSC process before the academic year begins. Under the ‘Thalliki Vandanam’ scheme, every eligible child in a household will receive ₹15,000. To support farmers, we will provide ₹20,000 in three installments, including the central government’s assistance. Additionally, during the fishing ban period, we will offer ₹20,000 in financial aid to fishermen,” Chandrababu Naidu explained.

His announcement comes amid criticism from YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders, who have accused the coalition government of failing to fulfill its ‘Super-6’ election promises.
