Those Who Tried to Eliminate TDP Have Vanished Into the Sands of Time: Chandrababu
On the occasion of the 43rd Foundation Day of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) today (March 29), party National President and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu delivered a special message to TDP cadres. Chandrababu Naidu participated in the celebrations held at the party's central office, NTR Bhavan, in Mangalagiri. During the event, Chandrababu Naidu along with party National General Secretary Nara Lokesh, State President Palla Srinivas Rao, Union Minister of State Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, State Home Minister Anitha, and other party leaders hoisted the party flag and paid floral tributes to the statue of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR).
Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu Naidu described the Telugu Desam Party as a reflection of a great visionary’s ideals. He stated that the TDP was born for a noble cause and is the only party in history to have come to power within nine months of its formation. He lauded NTR as a great leader who initiated numerous revolutionary welfare schemes for the poor. “We are all heirs to such a historic party, and I am merely the team leader,” Chandrababu Naidu said.
Chandrababu Naidu remarked that many people had made several attempts to eliminate the Telugu Desam Party, but all of them had disappeared into the sands of time. He asserted that no matter how many efforts were made, no one could bring down the TDP, adding that the party’s founding moment carried a unique strength. He expressed confidence that the TDP’s golden era in history would be everlasting. “To the yellow army that has always lived with the party as its life—then, now, and always—I offer my heartfelt salutations,” Chandrababu Naidu said with emotion.
“The 2024 elections have created history. We formed an alliance with the intention of rebuilding a state that had been devastated. TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP achieved a massive victory together. We registered a remarkable success with a 93 percent strike rate. Despite many ups and downs and challenges, our cadre never lost courage. Conspiracies were hatched to financially cripple our leaders and the party. Even when properties were destroyed, no one was afraid. We will always remember the sacrifices of every worker. As long as the cadre remains spirited, there is no defeat for the Telugu Desam Party,” Chandrababu Naidu stated.
