Photos of Suspected Pahalgam Attackers Released by Security Forces
Security agencies have released the photographs and sketches of four suspected terrorists believed to be behind the attack that occurred on Tuesday in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The attack, which took place in the popular tourist area of Baisaran, resulted in the deaths of 26 tourists and left several others injured.

Three of the terrorists have been identified as Asif Fuji, Suleman Shah, and Abu Talha. The attackers are said to be members of The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of the proscribed terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). Security officials confirmed that between five and six terrorists, dressed in traditional kurta-pyjamas, emerged from the dense pine forests surrounding the valley and opened fire with AK-47 rifles on the Baisaran grassland.

Intelligence sources indicated that Pakistani terrorists had infiltrated the valley days before the attack and participated in the assault. Saifullah Kasuri, also known by the alias Khalid, a commander of LeT, has been identified by intelligence agencies as the mastermind behind the massacre.

Security forces have launched an intensive manhunt to capture the terrorists who escaped by taking cover in the forested areas. A large deployment of helicopters has been made as part of the ongoing operations.

Preliminary forensic analysis and testimonies from survivors reveal that the terrorists used military-grade weapons and advanced communication equipment. The attackers appeared to be fully prepared, carrying dry fruits and medical supplies. Intelligence agencies further reported that the terrorists had even visited Pahalgam with assistance from local collaborators.

Photos and sketches of three of the attackers—Asif Fuji, Suleman Shah, and Abu Talha—have been released by the authorities as part of the investigation and public alert measures.
