Vice-Prez Venkaiah unveils statue of Pinnamaneni Koteswara Rao

Speaking after the unveiling the bronze statue of Pinnamaneni Koteswara Rao in Machilipatnam on Monday, Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu expressed concern over bringing division among people on the basis of caste, religion and region. He showered praises on Koteswara Rao for serving as Zilla Parishad Chairman of Krishna district for more than two decades. “It is not easy to continue as ZP chairman for 27 years,” he mentioned. 
 
Venkaiah Naidu said that the India doesn’t need dynasty politics but politicians with vigour and zeal are needed to serve the people and the country. He stressed on the need for political leaders to introspect the language used by them and their behaviour in the public life. 
 
While praising Pinnamaneni’s personality, Housing Minister Jogi Ramesh has recalled that he never wasted food. MP Kesineni Nani, former minister Perni Nani, YSRCP MLA Samineni Udayabhanu and other personalities from various walks of life were present.
