KTR: Aiming to generate Rs 2.5 lakh crores revenue from electronic sector in next 10 years

Hyderabad, May 2: Addressing a public gathering after inaugurating the Radiant Appliances and Electronics plant at E-City in Raviryala on Monday, Minister for IT, Industries and Municipal Administration K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) said that his government is aiming to create 16 lakh jobs and generate Rs 2.5 lakh crores revenue from electronic sector in the next ten years.
 
KTR thanked Raminder Singh Soin for reaching to produce 50 lakh LED TVs per annum with the inauguration of the new unit Raviryala. Telangana state is progressing on all fronts because of stable government under the able leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, he mentioned. The minister said that there are two clusters for manufacturing electronic goods and two more will come up soon. “My government is making efforts to set up industries across the state along with Hyderabad,” he said. Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, TRS MP G. Ranjith Reddy and others were present.
