TDP leaders responsible for crime rate rise in AP: MP Vijayasai

Guntur, May 7: YSRCP Rajya Sabha member V. Vijayasai Reddy on Saturday alleged that the TDP leaders are responsible for crime rate increase in Andhra Pradesh. He objected to Leader of the Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu for using words such as ‘psycho’ and ‘looter’ to criticise Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The MP flayed Chandrababu for seeking poll alliance with other political parties. “TDP never came to power on its own,” he said and made it clear that the YSRCP will wage sole fight in the next Assembly elections.

Vijaysai stated that Chandrababu’s TDP has no chance to form AP government in the next 30 years. “People gave a chance to the TDP in 2014 but Naidu did not utilise it. As a result, TDP faced defeat in 2019,” he mentioned.

The YSRCP leader claimed that the Jagan government has been implementing social welfare schemes effectively. To a question, he said that Chandrababu cannot stop Visakhapatnam from becoming state’s executive capital.
