KTR takes a dig at Rahul, terms AICC as All India Crisis Committee

Hyderabad: Minister for IT and Municipal Administration KTR reacted sharply to the remarks made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi at a farmers' meeting in Warangal on Friday. Rahul said that they would not ally with the thieves, who looted Telangana, and further stated that they will not ally with any party in the ensuing Assembly polls in Telangana. KTR said, “Actually, no party is interested in tying up with the Congress party as its lost sheen and it’s an outdated party.

KTR criticised that Rahul Gandhi read the script written by someone. Rahul, who did not win as an MP in his own constituency, will he lead the Congress party here? If Congress is such a great peasant party then why did it lose in Punjab? He asked.

On the occasion, KTR gave new meaning to AICC and said that AICC stands for All India Crisis Committee, He said there was nothing new in the declaration announced by the Congress in Warangal. KTR said he was appealing to the Telangana farmers not to believe the words of the Congress leaders and get rid of the Congress party from the State. KTR made these remarks on the occasion of Bhumipuja for the Kitex Textiles unit at Kakatiya Mega Textile Park.
