Hyd: BJP national executive meeting in July; PM Modi, Amit Shah, Nadda to attend

Hyderabad, June 1: The BJP will be conducting its national executive meeting here for three days beginning from July 2. According to party sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda will attend the meeting.

On Wednesday, BJP national general secretary and Telangana in-charge Tarun Chugh and BJP general secretary B.L. Santosh visited Hyderabad and inspected the venue selected for holding national executive meeting. The Telangana BJP leaders showed the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) to Tarun and Santosh.

The national BJP leaders asked state leaders regarding hotels in and around HICC for accommodating 300 BJP leaders coming to Hyderabad from various places in India. As the BJP wants to give tough fight to the ruling TRS in next Assembly elections, it wants to strengthen party in Telangana by holding national executive meeting here. If the dates are finalised for executive body meet then Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay will postpone his third phase of Praja Sangrama Yatra.
