Chandrababu cannot stop Vizag from becoming executive capital, reiterates MP Vijayasai

Visakhapatnam, June 23: YSRCP Rajya Sabha member Vijayasai Reddy reiterated on Thursday that TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu cannot stop Visakhapatnam from becoming executive capital. Speaking to the media after inspecting construction of Sri Polamamba temple at Jalaripeta here, he said that shifting of executive capital to Vizag is getting delayed because of some reasons.
 
To a question, the MP said that the High Court’s verdict regarding compound wall is only temporary relief to former TDP minister Ayyanna Patrudu. “Officials will submit evidence to the High Court to prove that Ayyanna Patrudu had constructed his house by illegally occupying canal land,” he mentioned.
 
Vijaysai stated that the YSRCP decided to support BJP presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu as she belongs to Scheduled Tribe (ST). “My party strongly believes that SCs and STs should get equal opportunities in top posts,” he added. He said that the YSRCP will always support upliftment of weaker sections of the society.
