The Warriorr, perfect movie for entry into Kollywood: Ram Pothineni
Hyderabad, July 14: In an interview, actor Ram Pothineni revealed that he wanted to prove in Tamil first and then make an entry into Tollywood as his ego was hurt because of his uncle and Telugu film producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore.
However, Ram stated that director Y. V. S. Chowdary had offered him lead role in Devadas movie when he was 15 years. “I was 17 years by the time film shooting completed and released in theatres,” he recalled.
To a question, the actor mentioned that he was excited during the release of his first movie. “Since then, I did not come across script like ‘The Warriorr’ so that the flick can be shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages,” he narrated and said that director Lingusamy’s film is perfect launch for him in Tamil.
Krithi Shetty is playing female lead in The Warrior. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music and Sujith Vaassudev is cinematographer.
