Police stop Jana Sena activists from marching towards Kodali Nani’s house

Krishna, July 15: Tense situation prevailed for some time when police stopped Jana Sena workers from marching towards the residence of former minister and YSRCP MLA Kodali Nani in Gudivada on Friday as part of digital campaign ‘#GoodMorningCMSir’ launched to highlight bad condition of roads in Andhra Pradesh. They raised slogans demanding Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to repair damaged roads.

Heated argument broke out between the DSP and Jana Sena activists. The police official faulted them for walking towards MLA’s house deviating the route map submitted to police while seeking permission for protest. The cops took a few Jana Sena leaders into custody and later released them on station bail.

Speaking to the media, local Jana Sena leader advised Kodali Nani to free Gudivada from potholes and bad roads instead of criticising their party chief Pawan Kalyan. So far, digital campaign received immense response on social media with thousands of tweets.
