Green energy projects will change the face of AP: CM Jagan
Amaravati, September 5: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy chaired the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) meeting here on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that green energy projects will change the face of Andhra Pradesh.
“AP will emerge as a role model to the country by generating clean energy. Besides, more jobs will be created by green energy projects and will accelerate economic growth in the state,” he mentioned and stated that farmers will get Rs 30,000 as lease amount every year per acre. “Green energy projects are generating revenue to farmers,” he added.
The AP government gave green signal for Causis E-Mobility Private Limited for setting up an industry at Kopparthi mega industrial park in Kadapa district with an estimated investment of Rs 386.23 crore. Out of which, Rs 286.23 crore will be spent on making electric buses and Rs 100 crore for creating infrastructure for charging. In the first phase, the company wants to manufacture 1,000 electric buses.
