BJP welcomes launch of new national political outfit by KCR

Hyderabad, September 30: BJP Parliamentary Board member and Rajya Sabha MP Dr K. Laxman on Friday welcomed the launch of new national political party by the TRS chief and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR). 
 
In a freewheeling chat with media here, Laxman said that the BJP’s ultimate goal is to form government in Telangana after next Assembly elections. “People in Andhra Pradesh want BJP to come to power in the state as there is not development in the YSRCP rule,” he mentioned. 
 
To a question, he made it clear that the BJP’s alliance with the Jana Sena will continue and not thinking of poll tie-up with the TDP. “I am of the view that a member in the BJP Parliamentary Board is equal to Union Minister post,” he said and expressed happiness over selection to the BJP Parliamentary Board from Telugu states only after former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu.
