Harsha Kumar accuses Jagan's hand in YS Sharmila's Congress shift
Amalapuram: During the Jagan's Siddam meeting in Rapthadu, Anantapur district, YSRCP cadres attacked Andhrajyothi photographer Srikrisna, an incident that has come to light. Former MP Harsha Kumar condemned this attack and demanded a response from CM Jagan. He also called for a reaction from the state's Governor and requested that the High Court register a suo moto case regarding the assault. Harsha Kumar expressed these concerns while speaking with the media in Rajahmundry.
Harsha Kumar opined that political parties should not offer tickets to newcomers and emphasized that in SC constituencies, existing leaders should not be ignored in favour of new candidates. He also stated that offering political positions to judges is not advisable and that retired government employees should not be given tickets. He highlighted that under YSRCP's rule, attacks on Dalits have increased and suggested that Dalits should vote against YSRCP in the upcoming elections. He mentioned that the alliance strategy between BJP, TDP, and Jana Sena is yet to be seen.
Harsha Kumar noted that they are conducting surveys in the Amalapuram constituency and would contest the elections if the survey shows public support. He criticized the government's DSC notification as an electoral gimmick. He speculated that RK's departure from YSRCP and subsequent return was part of Jagan's plan and expressed suspicion that Jagan might have been behind YS Sharmila's move to Congress.
